FCCAV Background:
The Filipino-Canadian Charitable Association of Vaughan (FCCAV) is a registered charitable organization (Registration No. 86374 6376 RR0001). Its objective is to build a recreation hall or community centre to be used by its members, various associations, and the public
The community centre will serve as a venue for line dancing, ballroom dancing, heritage classes, workshops, seminars, sport events such as basketball and gymnastics, meeting room and banquet dinners, cultural and social activities.
In line with this objective, FCCAV launched a fundraising project entitled "Search for Little Prince & Princess". The first FCCAV search for 2008 was concluded with a successful coronation night well attended by relatives and friends of the candidates held at Garnet Williams Community Centre. Invited guests and government officials who graced the Coronation & Awards are MP, MPP, Councillor, and Trustee. Proceeds raised will be go towards the acquisition of a community centre.
The community centre, when realized, will be all ours - a place that we call it our own. It will be the pride of all Filipinos and Filipino-Canadians in Vaughan.
We invite you to join and continue supporting us in this endeavour to make this fundraising project a complete success. Thank you for your generosity and support.
